Veterinary Oncologist. Diagnose and treat cancerous diseases and dysfunctions in animals. Doctorate level degree in Veterinary Medicine, or similar field, or the equivalent, is required. Must be eligible for licensure by the State of South Carolina to practice as a Veterinarian. Must have completed residency appointments in both Veterinary (Internal) Medicine and Veterinary Oncology. Must be in the process of completing certifications for both Veterinary Internal Medicine and Veterinary Oncology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Employer will accept certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates as documentation of a doctorate level degree.
