This unique therapeutic environment allows Clinicians not only a flexible work schedule but also the opportunity to complete paperwork remotely from home. NC4K serves a diverse population of children and families with emotional and behavioral needs. Clinicians receive exceptional professional support including clinical supervision for licensure and specialized training in evidenced-based modalities. EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:* Obtains referrals from supervisor and conducts an intake assessment, as needed, for individuals and/or families in a timely manner.* Provides behavioral health services to consumers as indicated following the intake assessment and as delineated in the treatment plan.* Provides or facilitates case management services as indicated to link consumers with necessary community resources that allow for continued in-home placement or the least restrictive level of care.* Participates as a member of a weekly treatment team staffings for the purpose of clinical consultation, utilization review, documentation verification and an exchange of information regarding clients.* Participates in regular individual consultation with supervisor regarding consumer care decisions.* Maintains all clinical records timely and appropriately, as required by agency and program policies, funding sources and accreditation authorities. Completes all required forms and maintains same in a manner consistent with requirements.* Works with Utilization Review and other agency personnel to ensure the proper utilization and/or authorization of treatment services.* Part time employees must provide a minimum of ten (10) hours direct services per week.* Full time employees must spend at least 55% of work hours providing direct services to clients.* Performs other duties as required and/or assigned by supervisor and/or executive staff. Skills/RequirementsPosition requires education and experience sufficient for designation as a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) in accordance with the standards adopted by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. Must possess a minimum of two (2) years experience in a mental health related field. Local travel is required. Must possess and provide verification of a valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Must maintain and provide verification of current automobile liability insurance including uninsured motorist coverage. Must possess and maintain current CPR, First Aid and CAPE certifications.Must have current (within past year) TB test; or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare.Casual professional dress is required.For safety purposes, NorthCare requires that all NC4K members carry a cell phone, not to be used while driving. NorthCare does not provide staff with cell phones but provides a monthly stipend to help cover the expense. Amount of stipend varies depending upon full-time or part-time status.Must have and/or complete the Core Level Co-occurring Training via NetSmart and all providers must participate in the Trauma-informed Training.Must possess skill in the MS Word processing software and intermediate general computer skills.Must possess basic computer skills, including ability to login to the NorthCare website and perform general word processing (i.e. typing, spell check, copying, pasting and saving information).Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs and move about freely.Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally with English-speaking consumers.Every NorthCare employee is responsible for adhering to any and all laws, professional standards and ethical codes that applytohis/her job responsibilities.
