Job Description: RTSC's Training Organization is currently seeking an "On-Call" Trainer to work as a Radar Maintenance Training and Support Instructor. This position will be to perform training on the ASR-11 Digital Airport Surveillance Radar provide direct support to Iraqi Air Force personnel conducting classes and develop training material. You may also participate in HMI studies and/or training plan development. Courses will be conducted at Baghdad International Airport, Iraq. This position will support ongoing various training requirements in both course development and instruction. Deployments to Iraq could typically last 3 to 6 months, depending on task requirements. This is not a full time position, but rather will be called in on an "as-needed" or On-Call, basis. Required Skills: Candidates for a Tech Support Specialist III - Training position must have at least 4 years experience in the maintenance and maintenance training of Radar Systems (PSR and MSSR). Candidates must have classroom instructor experience; in addition candidates should have some curriculum development training. Desired Skills: Candidates having military or civilian automation maintenance experience with Air Traffic Control Automation systems is a definite plus; in addition military or civilian experience with operation and maintenance of ASR 9 or ASR 11Air Traffic radar systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with International Civil Aviation Organization requirements is highly desirable.
