Very successful healthcare organization in growth mode that offers commitment to quality, state-of-the art facilities, and great work environment is seeking a senior level Team Lead for their LIS group. This individual will have established functional and technical expertise in sophisticated laboratory information systems. They will be involved in all phases of system analysis, design, validation and implementation with demonstrated proficiency in systems integration and configuration management. This person will have the proven ability to run key projects which are of significant scale in terms of complexity, cost, time constraints, staffing, and equipment needed. Required Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or other relevant discipline or equivalent education, training and experience. Masters degree preferred. * Advanced knowledge and acute understanding of laboratory applications and interfaces, as demonstrated by at least seven years progressively responsible experience in large-scale laboratory information systems. * Expertise in LIS support, maintenance and configuration, with the ability to manage complex LIS-related projects. * Excellent interpersonal and effective communications skills are necessary. * Ability to manage staff and serve as a technical expert on IT projects. * Experience with SCC SoftLabPreferred Skills and Experience: * Training and experience as a laboratory technician and/or Project Management is highly desirable.
