Teacher Staff - Challis, IDLocation: Challis, IDFull or Part Time: Part TimePosted Date: May 21, 2008Position Status: OpenDescription:Through both training and direct field ministry experience, this person will learn how to participate in effective Young Life ministry.Responsibilities:* Be active in all three levels of contact work.* Meet with leaders with who you work in club.* Attend area leadership and be involved as assigned.* Learn principles of recruitment and training of new leaders.* Work to develop relationships with school officials as they relate to development of the club ministry.* Attend committee and adult functions as necessary and assigned.Qualifications:* A strong, growing spiritual life is very important.* Ability to relate to kids and adults.* Two to three years of experience with a high school ministry and teaching preferred.* Prefer Young Life experience and experience in leading volunteers.* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.Notes:Challis, Idaho, is a small mountain community (population of 900), and is the county seat of a county the size of Connecticut (5,000 square miles).
