This position is responsible for federal and multi-state tax compliance and telecom tax reporting and compliance.* Overseeing all facets of federal, state and regulatory tax compliance* Working with finance department and regulatory department to determine filing requirements* Will be the primary tax contact with outside auditors (presently Ernst & Young) on both financial statement (presently Ernst & Young) and regulatory audits* Take full charge of preparing the Company?s US 1120/state and supporting schedules* Supervise and coordinate with outside firm that is preparing the tax returns and tax provision* Oversee federal and state tax controversies and FIN48 exposures* Assist as necessary with SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, etc.). Requirements: * Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance; preference for a CPA or MST.* Minimum of 8 years experience with a Big Four accounting firm or Corporate Tax department, or combination.* Expertise in SOX 404 plus recent experience in reviewing/preparing tax provisions and applying the principles of FAS 109, 123R, 141, and FIN 48.* Solid project management skills with demonstrated excellence in managing multiple projects at same time.* Key: Self starter and well organized .* Telecom experience a plus ? position requires coordinating, reviewing federal and state telecom tax requirements with outside firm that is preparing the tax returns.Broadview Networks is an Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/H/VBroadview Networks45-18 Court Square, Suite 300Long Island City, New York 11101fax: 718-947-9075
