Support the development, integration and experimentation at Army Research Lab (ARL), Aberdeen MD, for research in future human-system interface technologies using computational neuro-science, advanced micro-electro-mechanical sensors, and artificial intelligence.
Essential Job Functions:
Interface with and collaborate with ARL researchers, and DCS engineers to define and design laboratory and field systems for test and experimentation. The systems include but are not limited to, advanced combat vehicle operator interfaces, human neuro-physiological state assessment sensor suite, virtual reality simulation system, and human cognitive state and performance predictive modeler, and adaptive automation software.
Support the development and integration of above mentioned systems.
Support laboratory and field experimentation and demonstrations.
Support experiment data reduction and analysis.
Required Skills:
Understanding of digital signal processing concepts. Ability to understand, develop, or integrate software components written in C/C++.
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting or participating in multi-discipline research programs.
Experience with programming on Windows and Linux environments.
Background in controls, robotics, artificial intelligence.
Experience using / programming MATLAB.
Experience in design and development of DoD systems.
