Support Desk Spec IIIFull or Part Time: Full-timePrimary Location TOWN AND COUNTRY, MO 63017Work Schedule - Days: Sunday - SaturdayWork Schedule - Hours: 1st, 2nd or 3rd ShiftPercent Travel Support Desk Spec IIIPOSITION OVERVIEW:Responsible for execution and provisioning of security policies for more than one functional area (e.g., data, systems, network and/or Web) across the enterprise. Responsible for support, problem determination and solutions of enterprise wide technology incidents. Administers enterprise wide IT and security notifications as necessary. Performs Security Administration functions. Perform ITIL incident and problem management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:Enforces security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security profilesProvides direct support to the enterprise for security related issuesEducates IT and the business about security policies and consults on security issues regarding user built/managed systemsResponsible for incident resolution, diagnosis of complex problems, advanced problem resolution, end-user support follow-up, and interfacing with other support groups and outside vendors Provides training, mentoring and support for less experienced staffKeeps peers and manager informed of trends, significant problems and delaysKeeps internal customers informed of global problems, scheduled downtime, and status of reported problems or projectsProvides support when needed to ManagerProvides project support for new application releases and implementationsResponsible for the support of data and mobile devicesEvaluates and develops operations, problem management and escalation proceduresEvaluates system functionality and makes recommendations for enterprise wide software application enhancements (i.e. Remedy, Active Directory, PeopleSoft, billing and monitoring systems)Identifies trends and performs root cause analysisPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:3 plus years support desk experience5 plus years computer related work experienceAble to work shifts in 24X7 call environmentEDUCATION, CERTIFICATION & LICENSES:College coursework in Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experienceWORKING CONDITIONS:Office EnvironmentAdditional Qualifications:Developing Crystal Reports
