A Leading Healthcare facility in Kansas City, MO is in need of a Staff Pharmacist Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for:?Maintaining strong knowledge of hospital policies and government regulations and dispenses accordingly. ?Consulting with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient reactions, errors and complaints. ?Determining and consults on possible drug interactions. ?Assisting in the supervision and training of pharmacy technician personnel. ?Participating in Drug Utilization Review. ?Assisting with quality improvement initiatives, inventory and ordering of pharmaceuticals. ?Monitoring records and communicates as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. ?Utilizing knowledge of age specific needs of patient in performance of duties and responsibilities. ?Orienting and mentoring new staff members. ?Following Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. This is a Full time, Day-time position. Work only every 5th Weekend. This position requires:?BS or Pharm.D degree. ?Missouri State licensure as a Pharmacist.
