Job Description: Software Configuration Management Specialist that plans, conducts and executes Software CM activities that include; software identification, change control, audits, status accounting and product release. Establish and maintain software builds using automated tools (CM/Synergy or Clearcase). Establish guidelines and provide support to the Program and Software Configuration Control Board. Establish and maintain Action Item and Change Request databases. Participate in software audits and reviews. Follow Raytheon Policies and Directives and establish program documentation, processes and work instructions under general direction of SWCM Section Manager. Required Skills: * Proficient in both MS Windows and Unix Operating System Environments* Experience with CM tools, in particular Telelogic CM/Synergy, ChangeSynergy or Clearcase preferred* Extensive experience with PC software applications to include MS Office Tools* Must have experience establishing software configurations, as well as performing software builds and releases* Possess the necessary people skills to work effectively with all levels of management and peers* Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle* Experience with SCM process definition and implementation Desired Skills: * Scripting knowledge a plus* Working knowledge of SEI Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and SEI Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)Required Education (including Major): BS/BA in Engineering/Computer Science or other discipline with 6 years of SWCM or software development experienceRaytheon is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status, or any other protected factor.To Apply for this position, pleaseCLICK HERE
