Sr Field Engineer I - ATNAVICS (OCONUS Deployments)

Job Description: RTSC's Radar Field Operations Office in Marlboro, MA is currently seeking a Sr. Field Engineer I to provide technical field support and maintanance for the AN/TPN-31 Air Traffic Navigation Integration and Control Systems (ATNAVICS), a mobile state of the art integrated radar and air traffic control system. As our Field Engineer, you will reside full time on Army bases in IRAQ and support Army airfield and airport mobil deployments, checkouts, maintenance and repair of Raytheon's ATNAVICS system's in accordance with Raytheon technical and/or vendor documentation at Army facilities worldwide including Iraq, Kuwait or Afghanistan. 100% Travel required from home of record for a period of up to one year. Required Skills: Electronic equipment installation and repair experience required. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and schematic drawings. Experience with field repair and maintenance of radar and computer systems. Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and repair complicated electronics/computer systems. Must be willing to live and work on Military Facilities in Kuwait/Iraq or Afghanistan for one year assignment. Must have at least four years experience Radar and/or Radar Automation Systems. Desired Skills: Experience with Raytheon Radar and/or Radar Automation Systems including ATNAVICS, FBPAR, DASR and Autotrack; Military e xperience; Experience working in the field as a Field Service Engineer.Required Education(including Major): Advanced Military training in Radar or Communications and 8 years relevant experience OR A Bachelors Degree in a technical field and 4 years of relevant experience OR -an Associates degree in a technical field with 8 years relevant experience OR -at least 12 years relevant experience with no Degree.
