Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Software / System Test Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Fairmont, WV. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Department of Defense (DoD) Next Generation Automated Biometric Identification System (NG-ABIS) contract.Roles and Responsibilities:* Developing, executing, and automating functional, system, regression, and performance tests based on requirements.* Designing, writing, implementing, and executing test plans, test procedures, and test reports.* Determining conditions under which test operations are to be conducted, sequenced, and phased.* Conferring with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems, such as requirement deficiencies and system malfunctions, incomplete test data, and data interpretation, considering such factors as conditions under which the test was conducted and phase of the test used to obtain and record data.* Analyzing and interpreting test results and prepare technical reports for use by engineering and management personnel.Minimum Qualifications:To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:* B.S. or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other computer/engineering related field plus 5 years relevant and/or professional experience.* Strong oral and written communication abilities.* Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.* Proficient using Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Excel).* Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:* Previous experience querying databases using SQL statements.* Experience with IBM Rational products including ClearQuest TestManager (CQTM), Functional Tester, Manual Tester, and RequisitePro.* Experience with Subversion.* Experience with Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition and Oracle SOA Suite.* Experience with Java.* Experience with Linux.* Position prefers a candidate with a current Secret ClearanceFor a listing of all Northrop Grumman open positions, please visit our website at www.careers.northropgrumman.comMULTIPLE POSITIONS.
