Given that Alaska is relatively a protected market; the Company has come to be known as the premier source for all types of survey and construction supply equipment. Additionally, the Company has been developing relationships with the manufacturers of other related products including Trimble, ESRI, NetworkFleet, Iridium satellite phones, Garmin, Laser Tech, and Laser Craft, among others. Accupoint's customer base is served by between 15 and 20 employees. Our company philosophy is based on exceeding the expectations of our customers, and developing long term relationships with our customers, staff, and the companies we represent and partner with.Position RequirementsService Technician Role:Direct interface with Accupoint customers and distribution network. Duties include performing daily activities pertaining to the repair/re-work of products. Record and provide technical information on associated product quality.Assist with the daily inventory transactions, order requirements and system pack-out needs.Decision regarding product disposition will be required of this position.IT Associate Role:Responsible for screening, referring, diagnosing, and when possible resolving internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to the maintenance and support of personal computers and related systems and software. May assist in performing minor troubleshooting in the identification of applicable problems, applications software and basic network communications.Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments. Requires experience with a wide variety of software, hardware and PC operating systems.Education / ExperienceCandidate must possess strong communication, organizational and time management skills. Ability to make command decisions that both meet customer expectations and represents Accupoint's overall organizational goals. Customer service focus with strong phone skills and written communications. Personable and able to deal with a wide range of customers with different skill levels in a positive and friendly manner.Experience in these areas: Windows SBS/2000/XP, MS Office, antivirus software, hardware/software support, PC set-up, and monitoring server utilization required. Proficient knowledge of basic computer concepts required. 1 + year Help Desk experience helpful. Capable of providing high level of support to Accupoint customers, employees and distribution network.
