Responsibilities:?Manages the operational aspects of a scope or a project including transfer to Manufacturing and Production?Maintains good communication within the team, other groups involved in the project and management?Creates and maintains all project plans (High-level project plan and the detailed project schedule) ?Proactive - anticipates problems and forms plans before the project suffers. Identifies and mitigates risks of the assigned project - Identifying risks, creating risk mitigation plans and minimizing risk?Ensures that all the documents needed for a project are complete per an already established Product Development Procedure?Addresses all the issues that need immediate action and attention and keep management posted on the status?Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems?Directs integration of technical activities and products ?Prepares and presents project status reports to a range of audiences ? Senior Executives to Management?Project/Team Evangelist - Creating an environment for teamwork, open communications and ownership required for successful project completion. Guiding teams to complete projects on time, on budget, and of high quality?Ability to function/coordinate with multiple departments to accomplish business objectives by facilitating meetings and follow up activities to ensure timelines are met. Internal and external contacts often as it pertains to company plans and objectives will be expected.?Responsible for working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.?International travel may be required.Requirements:?BS in Computer Science or related field?Minimum 8 years of experience in Engineering Project Management in software development projects?Proven experience applying software development best practices such as scrum, continuous integration and automated testing?Medical Project Development experience?High degree of analytical and critical thinking, independent judgment and discretion is required ?Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitate management and team meetings for issue resolution?Working with MS Project for planning, monitoring and control, reporting, and critical path analysis?Knowledge of all aspects of the software development life-cycle?Strong liaison and interpersonal skillsPreferred skills:?PMP Certification strongly preferred?Experience working on Medical Devices and Medical/Health Records and Healthcare?FDA and QA experiences ?Assembling and leading project teams across multiple geographies (both on and offshore) is a plus?Agile PLM is a plus
