Senior Analyst
Seeking a Senior Analyst who has strong management experience with retail sales background.
- The goal will be for the Sr. Analyst to pull together the information we have into cohesive reports AND work with our analysts and forecasters to track, analyze and communicate performance results and any variances to plan, forecast, budget or margin performance.
- Provide internal and external sales and marketing management with the tools and analytical capabilities to support strategies, execution, and measurements.
- Create, manage, and distribute reports for Sales Tracking, Forecasts and Scorecards.
- Develop and maintain customer pricing Matrix & co-op tracking reports.
- Manage the POS reporting and analyze POS data from retail partners.
- Assist in building and maintaining budgets for retail sales and related areas, including marketing.
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis to management.
- Participate and maintain Budget and Forecasts.
- Maintains market intelligence database to examine, analyze, and compile statistical market data.
- Conduct monthly reviews with sales & marketing team identifying variances to budget.
- Identify & track E&O; work on solutions with sales & marketing team to reduce and sell.
- Prepares reports, including charts and graphs, and presents recommendations for action plans to management.
- Provide up-to-date analysis of current sales trends.
An ideal candidate will have:
- Local residence, sorry no relocation offered
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university;
- Must have 5 years years experience working for companies who sell products to retailers.
- Retail Sales exp (consumer good products)
- Analyst/Accounting exp (good w/numbers)
- Knowledge of ORACLE, Database software; Internet software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software.
- Requires experience with Demand Solutions forecasting software; Legility forecasting software; and Retail Link.
