Senior Aerospace Mechanical Engineer (3-6+ month contract)Requirements?7+ Years Experience Working in Aerospace?Background in designing electromechanical hardware (actuators, gears, cams, bearings, bushings, o-rings)?Background in RTCA DO-160 Testing?Background in PMA/TSO Certification?Background in GD&T?Background in Tolerance Stack-ups?Background in stress analysis?Background in materials selection?Background in solid modeling?Background in ASME 14.5 compliant drawings?Demonstrated experience in working a design from concept to FAA certification?Application Experience with Electromechanical Switches?Application Experience with Resolvers/RVDTs/LVDTsRole DefinitionRemotely participate in design programs for sensing/switching components for launch into one of three different factories. Expected to make sound engineering decisions based on minimizing risk to program scope/schedule/budget. Focused on implementing low risk / proven technologies.
