Senior / Principal GeochemistIndustry: Consulting EngineeringExperience: Mid to Senior Level 10 plus years(Immediate opening in Anchorage AK) Well established Consulting Engineering firm has an opening for a Senior / Principal Geochemist in their Anchorage Alaska office. This person will be working on mining projects for the company?s North American and International clients. Duties will include managing and undertaking studies related primarily to the mining industry, including: State and Federal project permitting for operations, reclamation and closure; and specialist consulting for assignments such as due diligence assessments.Candidates must have at least 10 plus years of work experience as a Geochemist, preferably in the mining industry. Experience with mineral exploration methods, mine waste disposal methods, mineral processing methods and mine and environment regulations and policies, and the ability to design programs to characterize potential for acid rock drainage and metal leaching (ML/ARD), including application of geochemical testing methods for ML/ARD and prediction of water chemistry are required.Proven leadership, technical writing, presentation skills and project management experience, as well as excellent written and verbal English communications skills are a must.The ability to travel internationally is required.Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geochemistry, Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology from an accredited US College or University is required.Salary is D.O.E. with full benefits and relocation expenses for the right candidate.(Candidates must be authorized to work for any US company without sponsorship)
