Screw Machine Leadman ? machinist, set up, multi spindle, GildemeisterA stable OEM manufacturer of hydraulic stainless steel fittings is searching for a first shift leadman to oversee their Gildemeister multi spindle screw machines cell. We are searching for candidates with direct Gildemeister set up experience, good troubleshooting skills, ability to train others and leadership skills. The Screw Machine Leadman will oversee, guide and direct 4 to 5 machinists in a high volume environment with limited machine changeovers. This position is responsible for scheduling machinists, machine set up, machine up time, troubleshooting, training and ensuring daily production requirements are met. Experienced solving machining, tooling and mechanical issues is required. Interested candidates will need a minimum of 5 years of experience setting up Gildemeister screw machines and the ability to guide other machinists. Knowledge of machine attachments and various cutting tool applications is a must.
