Title: Retail Sales Assistant ManagerReq Number: A04-09-071Location(s): Lake Grove NY For consideration, access ourDescription:BASIC FUNCTIONS:Reports to Store Manager.Performs following duties personally or supervises employees performing duties: Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.Directs workers preparing merchandise and displays.Supervises employees engaged in, or performs, sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, or preparing daily record of transactions.Orders merchandise or prepares requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand.Insures compliance of employees with established security, sales and record keeping procedures and practices.Perform retail sales person's duties when necessary.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 2 years retail sales experience and minimum 1 year retail management experience.Ability to read, write and communicate in English.Ability to comprehend and follow instructions (written, oral or diagrammatic).Ability to interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.Computer and cash register experience.Outgoing, enthusiastic, and sports-minded individual.PLUS FACTORS:Knowledgeable about Oakley, Inc. and Oakley products
