Job # 3487 The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the design and analysis of radars for terrestrial mobile and static applications.Experience with translating abstract requirements into practical radar architectures is required. System level analysis experience (frequency planning, scenario modeling, cascade analysis, interoperability assessment and clutter management, for example) and the ability to translate these to functional/interface specifications is required. Familiarity with the ground-based radar operational and control requirements for object detection and tracking is required. An understanding of simulation platforms, link budget analysis, cascade analysis from the antenna interface through to processed output is desirable. Experience in the hardware implementation of radars for static ground-based and vehicle borne applications is required.Responsibilities will include the design, simulation and demonstration of radars, definition of the interface requirements and functional specifications, and technical customer support including customer presentations, field evaluations and testing, and technical leadership of bids and proposals. Assist in creation of circuit and block-level simulations, working with design and development team to implement radar solutions, analysis of test results and assessments of performance compliance. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is necessary. Active clearance preferred
