RTS - Customer Service Technician TempJob Code: 24859Organization: RTSLocation: Huntsville, AL USTravel Involved: 10-20%Job Type: Full TimeJob Level: Entry, 0-2 years of experienceEducation: High school diploma or equivalent Skills: Category: Customer Service,RetailCompensation: $11 - $14 per hourPosition Summary:Retail Wireless Customer Service Associates will:* Provide face-to-face frontline customer support and accessorysales in the technical service department of a major wirelesscarrier's retail location.* Meet minimal quota for non-commissioned up-selling ofaccessory equipment such as phone chargers, ear pieces, enhancedfeatures, etc.* Establish strong rapport and trust with customers.* Program, troubleshoot and test cell phones and equipment.* Analyze repairs and schematics to determine if extendedrepair is needed.* Exchange cell phones and process all warranty claims.* Accurately document customer interactions in multipleplatforms.* Perform opening and closing duties within the technicalservice department.* Provide direction, training and support to other associatesas needed.Compensation Package to include:* Pay range $11 - $14 per hour; eligible to receive quarterlybonus.* Medical, Dental, Vision* Vacation, Sick & Holiday Pay* 401kRequirements* One year of customer service and sales experience in a retailenvironment.* Proven record of consistently providing positive customerexperiences.* An interest in selling and a desire to learn sales techniquesin a non-commissioned, retail environment.* Basic technical aptitude.* Comfortable navigating in Windows operating systems.* Possess excellent verbal and written communicationskills.* Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.* Professional, neat appearance.* Ability to work retail hours, which may include rotatingschedules nights, weekends, holidays and some overtime.* High School Diploma or equivalent.* Ability to pass a complete background verification includingbut not limited to: Education, Employment, Credit, Criminal, and DrugScreen.
