This grant may be renewed.General Summary:Coordinate all aspects of the RN Achievement Grant including working with the case managers, tutors and instructional support staff. Works with the external evaluator to collect data to measure program outcomes and disseminate program results.Job Specifications:Bachelor's degree required in nursing, social services, education or related field (Masters preferred); Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a related professional field in higher education; Experience in writing and/or administering grants preferred; Experience working with diverse populations, traditional, and non-traditional students; Knowledge of data collection in an academic setting.Job Duties:1. Become familiar with the provisions of the RN Achievement Grant 2. Recruit students and staff as needed; Coordinate tutoring and remediation activities with program and College staff3. Coordinate Grant activities with all CCAC/Department/Campus/College policies, processes, and procedures 4. Prepare and submit all grant related reports including time sheets 5. Monitor and report student progress; Meet individually with each cohort student periodically 6. Conduct RN Achievement Advisory Board meetings and oversee learning community meetings7. Work with Student Support Specialist to see that the social and human service needs of cohort students are being met 8. Work with Financial Aid Office to monitor student scholarships and stipends 9. Review the curriculum for Transitions to Nursing workplace Program. 10.
