General Job Duties:* Lead and manage the team of research department heads at IHS Herold. Where appropriate, gain input from research heads regarding company coverage assignments and appropriate workforce allocation.* Enhance IHS Herold's competitive position by using expertise and judgement in supporting existing research products as well as expediting current research output.* Work with the research department heads to establish and accomplish annual performance objectives, and help develop their individual research teams.* Identify possible consolidation of certain insight/research offerings across the IHS organization in order to increase revenue stream.* Keep President & COO of IHS Herold up to date on overall research output and make recommendations on long-term, strategic research goals.Required Education:* Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, graduate degree preferredRequired Experience:* Extensive (10 years ) experience in financial research, preferably in the energy industry* Demonstrated experience managing teams* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Ability to lead a team providing guidance and open, honest feedback.Organizational Relationships:This position reports to (title): Christine Juneau, President & COO of IHS Herold Titles of positions reporting directly to this position: Senior Vice Presisdents, AnalystNumber of employees supervised A.
