Title: Project Manager, IT DevelopmentLocation: CO-DenverOur Information Technology Solutions Delivery Team is seeking a Project Manager to join us in our Denver, CO office. Responsibilities include:* Overall performance and delivery responsibility for managing large application enterprise releases; including scope, schedule, risk, and issues* Must be able to oversee multiple enterprise application releases with respect to decisions and processes in terms of the big picture / cross-departmental impacts and provide leadership to cross-functional teams within a matrixed IT organization* Ensure that issues and risks are identified, understood early and dealt with in a manner that mitigates surprises, risk to scope, and schedule* Measure results and monitor key performance indicators to ensure project objectives are met post-implementation* Provide clear and consistent communication of project status both internally within IT and with Business Stakeholders* Evaluate business unit and IT decisions to ensure they are in the best interest of customers and company goals escalate as needed* Develop and maintain standard project documentation - project plans, agendas, action items lists, deliverables and ensure adherence to company Project Management Standards and Software Development Lifecycle best practices* Produce executive level communication for project stakeholders* Establish and sustain strong ongoing relationships with IT and business partners * Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 7 years of progressively challenging project management experience within the Information Technology discipline required (large-scale, application/development, multi-disciplinary Project Management), MBA and/or PMP Preferred* Demonstrated success managing teams; work effectively with business and technical managers within diverse and cross-functional groups* Leadership qualities, including meeting facilitation, time management, organizational skills and ability to influence others* Demonstrated IT project management experience within formal WIP and SDLC processes* Experience with analyzing complex issues and delivering appropriate solutions* Ability to accommodate change and adapt accordingly* Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, including ability to tailor communication to audience to achieve desired results* Proficiency in MS Project, Clarity, and other applications* Able to work independently, in a fast paced and deadline driven environment* Ability to proactively identify and solve problemsCandidate must possess the following qualities and characteristics:* High Energy* Self starter* Mature judgment* Initiative* Personal responsibility and accountability* Business political maturity* Experience in leading and building capable subordinates* This position is accountable for successful project delivery through disciplined project management processes and close collaboration with colleagues throughout the organization* Willingness to work occasional extended hours and weekends
