Designs and develops computer programs that automate specific business processes or conducts the operations and maintenance of operational application software systems. Programming languages include JAVA and JSP as well as Java Server Faces (JSF), Oracle Forms & Reports. Basic database programming skills using SQL. Troubleshoots and debugs application code and responds to modification requests. Fields and resolves trouble calls created in response to user's requests. Provides real time feedback during Joint Application Development (JAD) and Technical Working Group (TWG) sessions / meetings. Performs system support to Linux and Windows system administrators and DBAs. Required to provide technical input for creation of policies, procedures, and associated documentation.Must have 0-3 years programming experience (JAVA preferred). Basic background in database programming using a SQL language. Must be intuative, far-sighted, and demonstrate inter-personal skills. Must exhibit good written and verbal communication skills. Familiararity with enterprise processes and procedures encouraged.Experience with Oracle Developer; Eclipse; SOAP/Web Services are a plus.
