NSN Health provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy.
As a Supervising Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
-- Delegating, supervising, and monitoring the delivery of personal care/and or nursing tasks under personal assistance services
-- Coordinating and directing all aspects of the patient’s health care needs as dictated by the plan of care.
-- Making skilled nursing visits to assess or recertify patients to the service.
-- Making appropriate referrals for therapy, social work, durable medical equipment and other services.
-- Establishing specific nursing goals, and develops a nursing care plan to be followed for each patient.
-- Reviewing documentation to monitor the progress, condition, and care of the patients.
-- Communicating and cooperating with other members of the staff to provide the best care possible for the patient and carry out the overall objectives of the agency.
Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Texas or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Position requires at least one year experience as an RN with in the last 36 months. Must be available to the agency at all times in person or by telephone. Must have at least 3 years experience in nursing.
The following skills and/or licenses are NOT REQUIRED but preferable:
A.) Have at least three years current experience in hemodialysis; or
B.) Have at least two years experience as an RN and hold a current certification from a nationally recognized board in nephrology nursing or hemodialysis
Limited travel is necessary in the North Dallas area including Allen, Plano, Frisco, and McKinney. The number of working hours per week is negotiable as well as the time of performance.
