:1538-1954Title:Occupational Therapy AssistantType:Full TimeSalary:HourlyJob Description:* Assists the supervising OT and the physician in evaluating the level of function.* Guides the patient in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities under the direction of the OT.* Observes, records, and reports to the supervising OT and the physician, the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.* Instructs patient, significant others, and staff in the areas of therapy.* Visits patient according to plan of treatment and participates in developing the plan of treatment.* Prepares reports and progress notes.* Is responsible for adhering to all practice standards as they apply to patient care.Job Requirements:* Currently licensed by the Board of Medical Examiners to assist in the practice of occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed Registered OT.* Minimum two (2) years experience as a licensed COTA before starting a home health case load.* Current driver's license and automobile insurance in state of employment, and the ability to travel within a 50 mile radius on a daily basis.* Is responsible for adhering to all practice standards as they apply to patient care.Location:HomeCare Plus, Inc.Lewisburg , WV
