The Nurse Practitioner in the Pediatric Surgery provides primary care to patients and families including nursing care and delegated medical tasks. Works under the general supervision of a physician using established and approved protocols as required by institutional policy. The Department of Pediatric Surgery at Vanderbilt is a large program who is committed to excellence. You will be part of a specialty service in pediatric surgery and responsible for the patients plan of care. The Nurse Practitioner team for Pediatric Surgery will assist the physicians in procedures and patient care. Minimum Requirements: This position requires a Masters degree in nursing and 12 months of experience. Acute Care FNP or Acute Care PNP is strongly preferred License Required: Current TN Registered Nurse license Additional Information: This is a full time position; 40 hours per week. Must be able to work flexible day shift and one Saturday per month. Background screens will be performed and Education will be verified prior to employment.
