Description
To develop and create e-Learning training programs for internal clients by designing e-Learning, graphical user interface (GUI), multimedia, animation, simulations, audio, videos, and assessment tools.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develops e-Learning in collaboration with internal and external clients and consultants, (Media Services, Corporate Systems Integration, Technical Operations, Human Resources Business Technology Group, Operations, and Approved Vendor List) at the direction of Project Manager. Develops , creates, edits and maintains any and all e-Learning, graphical user interface (GUI), multimedia, animation, simulations, audio, videos, and assessment tools. Works closely with Project Manager to provide creative design expertise and solutions for the client and instructional design teams (designer, CLS-QA, programmer, graphic artist). Assists the Project Leader with the development and maintenance of e-Learning production process, project plans, timelines, interactive templates, interfaces, architecture, quality assurance, and testing procedures. Works with Resource Coordinator and Project Administrator to negotiate timelines and project priorities with clients, design team leaders, and external vendors. Ensures that all e-Learning courses are compliant with internal design standards and external standards for SCORM, AICC, and Section 508. Develops and maintains effective, strong, collaborative relationships with external resources, industry professionals, and vendors.
Working hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
Qualifications
An undergraduate degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and work related experience.
Minimum of three years of Web-based experience.
Knowledge of Lotus Notes environment, Microsoft Office, and database experience preferred.
Experience working collectively as part of a production team to accomplish a project.
Ability to manage project plans, project documentation, quality control processes, and data retrieval processes.
Project management and experience with Microsoft Project is preferred.
Working knowledge of Windows and NT environments.
Working knowledge of various platforms used throughout company (Change Management Elevation, Team Site, Insti. Prod., Ind. Prod., CAT, SAT etc.).
Working knowledge of the following software programs is preferred: Adobe software (Illus. Photoshop) Adobe captivate, Macromedia Director, Flash (Action Script), HTML, XML, CSS, and Java Script.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated flexibility, judgment skills, and good time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and learn in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of alternative learning strategies, technologies, and methodologies preferred.
Knowledge of web, other systems and business functions preferred.
