Job Description: The Program Quality Manager (PQM) on the F/A-18 Radar Programs will be leading/managing the activities of a very large organization which is matrixed into the PQM sphere of responsibility through IPTs and functional organizations. Additionally, the financial impact of the PQM's sphere of responsibility encompasses programs that are currently valued at more than $300M in sales per year. The sphere of influence of a PQM encompasses the entire breadth of the program, its suppliers and supporting organizations. The PQM coordinates, provides direction, advice, and assistance to all functions, facilities and organizations throughout Raytheon and our suppliers. Although the primary focus of the PQM is the quality element of the cost/schedule/quality equation, the PQM is equally accountable for the overall success of the program. As a member of the program leadership team, the PQM coordinates requirements flowdown to all performing areas/functions and facilitates the investigation, resolution and reporting on quality issues; supports the program through process standardization/coordination and assistance in achieving program success. The PQM is the primary interface with both resident and off-site customers.
