Job Description: Responsible for Program Operations Management and oversight of production programs in the Forest Consolidated Manufacturing Center, reporting through the Airborne Radar Product Line. This role is responsible for the overall cost, schedule and quality performance of the production program. Responsibilities include operations leadership throughout the IPDS program life cycle, developing schedule plans, resource loading, and management of business performance metrics. This position also requires active leadership in the creation of capital plans, ensuring producible designs along with implementing and maintaining production processes. The position will support the finance organization through the use of Earned Value Management, and is required to lead the completion of EACs and variance analysis for the respective programs. The role will require frequent involvement in the proposal strategy and pricing development process, working alongside the cost estimating team. The position interacts daily with functional resources including production engineering, test engineering, quality engineering, material control, and production control. Serves as the primary customer contact on status and performance and anticipates customer needs to ensure their satisfaction. Required Skills: 10+ years of manufacturing experience. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to communicate across the organization. Must have broad knowledge of manufacturing planning/scheduling, and lean manufacturing concepts. Candidate must have a working knowledge of manufacturing metrics used to manage operations. Direct related experience in manufacturing operations or project management on development and production programs with prior leadership skills in a team-based manufacturing environment. Previous experience with proposal development and an understanding of business finance. Candidate should possess a working knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing experience and certification. Desired Skills: Working knowledge of Internal Raytheon engineering, manufacturing, and financial systems such as IPDS, EVMS, R6s, SAP, and VM. Program Management certification.
