Mgr II Manufacturing

Job Description: Responsible for Program Management responsibilities and oversight for a product family within the Battlefield Operations at CMC Forest, MS. Duties include program planning and control activities for schedule and cost performance. Develop control systems and metrics that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken. Interacts daily with functional resources including production engineering, test engineering, quality engineering, material control, and production control. Serves as the primary customer contact on status and performance and anticipates and fulfills customer needs to ensure their satisfaction. Will provide leadership to a small team of program managers within assigned product line. Will lead new business proposal efforts for assigned product line.Required Skills: 12+ years of Manufacturing experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to communicate across the organization. Must have broad knowledge of manufacturing planning/scheduling, and lean manufacturing concepts. Direct related experience in manufacturing operations or project management on development and production programs with prior leadership skills in a team-based manufacturing environment. Previous experience with proposal development or financial experience. Desired Skills: Internal Raytheon Business systems, engineering, manufacturing, and financial systems. Six Sigma or lean experience and certification.
