JOB SUMMARYPatient check-ins including vital signs and documentation. Collects and correctly identifies patient specimens. Performs screenings, EKGs and measurements for Ted Hoses. Cleans exam rooms and maintains room supplies. Provides support and assistance to the staff and providers in the provision of care. Practices within the scope of Piedmont Health Services policies, procedures and standards. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: High School Graduate.Current/valid License: None.Experience: Experience in patient care or customer service. Completion of Medical Terminology and Corporate Module within first 90 days.Preferred Qualifications: Previous clinical experience. PATIENT POPULATION SERVEDPediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric, Prenatal. Diverse population of patients.PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORKING CONDITIONSExtended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, pulling and pushing. Performance of essential duties requiresclose and distance vision and hearing acuity. Must be able to perform heavy lifting, generally more than 25 pounds. Clinical environment with exposure to chemicals, pathogens and patient body fluids.
