Job Description: Assigned to Value Stream; Analyzes, releases, and follows up purchase part requirements and maintains material lead-time and attrition factors; Acts as liaison for SCM in support of internal and external customers; Maintains and monitors material finance; Responsible for Supply Control duties in support of Value Stream Customers. Interact with an MRP system to generate purchase part requirements. Analyze data generated from the system and make decisions on order execution. Create, maintain, and release purchase requests to procurement. Status purchase requisition and purchase parts on order and expedite delivery if required and coordinate the implementation of engineering changes for purchased parts. Maintain performance PO's material estimated cost estimates (ECAC).Required Skills: Good communication skills; good computer skills, proficient in Excel and Powerpoint and able to work within a Value Stream environment.Desired Skills: 6-9 months of basic understanding of MRP concepts. Previous SCM and SAP experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous work experience in inventory management, procurement, or planning and scheduling a plus. Required Education(including Major): BS/BA (Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Finance) OR A minimum of 8 years of directly related work experience in Production/Material control related field.
