We are seeking a healthcare professional, a registered nurse (RN) or radiologic technologist (RT), to direct and administer clinical and operational activities of a vascular access center. Training will be provided prior to the opening of the new outpatient procedure clinic.Lifeline Vascular Accessworks with premier physician practices to develop and manage outpatient centers that provide focused and coordinated vascular access procedures to patients receiving hemodialysis treatment for end-stage renal disease (ESRD). We currently manage more than 50 physician-owned vascular access centers where we provide physician practices with financial and outcomes reporting, staffing and training, facility operations, insurance billing services, and regulatory compliance. As Center Manager,you will be responsible to ensure that interventional procedures are provided by our center staff with efficiency while maintaining high-quality outcomes. Additional responsibilities will include oversight of patient records, billing, budget data, inventory, and insuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies. You will also be responsible for the hiring, training and evaluation of center staff, and participate in operational meetings. As a member of our team, you will interact with patients, physicians and dialysis facilities as part of our community educational program, and also participate in other educational outreach initiatives.As a registered nursewith responsibility for managing center operations, your clinical role will include providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing vascular access procedures under conscious sedation. In this role, you will gather pretreatment patient data, monitor patient and medications during procedures, maintain prescription drug logs, and provide assistance to the vascular access team during pre- and post-procedure activity. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining a cooperative working relationship with patients, their family members, medical staff, and laboratory personnel.As a radiologic technologistwith responsibility for managing center operations, your clinical role will include operating a C-Arm, scrubbing in for interventional procedures, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and maintaining inventory of medical supplies. * Minimum two years experience as a clinical manager* Nursing degree from an accredited program or ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist required* Current license in the state of Florida* BLS required, ACLS preferred* Critical care, emergency room, med/surg, ICU, PACU, dialysis, cath lab, special procedures or general diagnostic experience preferred* Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook required* Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills* Ability to wear a lead apron and stand for extended periods of timeLifeline Vascular Accessis a division of DaVita Inc., the nation's largest independent provider of dialysis services in the United States, dedicated to providing services to patients diagnosed with chronic kidney failure.
