This operations center will be based out of the McChord Air Force Base. The TCM service center will offer on-wing engine support, including EcoPower on-wing engine wash services.The Line Maintenance Field Specialist will be responsible for:-Resolving customer in-service issues and fostering an understanding of customer engine maintenance and repair considerations or preferences;-Developing internal service center procedures in order to comply with all DOD/FAA requirements;-Creating, developing, and documenting on-wing;Inspections and techniques documenting in-situ borescope inspections and procedures;-Coordination of logistical support of fielded inspection programs;-Supporting other P&W departments in the resolution of maintenance related engine problems through field experience and in-service information gathering activities;-Familiarity with all types of borescope inspection equipment;-Assisting the LMS business team in developing and implementing revenue generating line maintenance services;-Delivering aircraft line maintenance services, including borescope inspections and EcoPower engine wash services;-Maintaining all service center equipment;-Engaged in the continuous improvement of all service center processes;-Ensuring that all flight line related services are performed on time, safely, and in a professional manner.This position will be based at Seattle, WA and will require periodic travel to support other P&W domestic and international service centers.The service center Line Maintenance Field Specialist will work closely with managers and mechanics from various airlines and will be expected to provide feedback and respond to any concerns.The Line Maintenance Field Specialist must have a broad knowledge of military operations, engine hardware, borescope inspection/procedures, line maintenance, and flight line operations.The Line Maintenance Field Specialist should be familiar with the safe operation of heavy equipment and ground support equipment around aircraft.AA/AS degree, Technical School Certificate desired.Applicant must have an A&P license and a minimum of 5-10 years aircraft flight line maintenance experience, including engine line maintenance tasks.This position offers the opportunity to support a growing business and to set a high level of standards under which the service center will operate going forward.
