The qualified candidate for the Licensed Social Worker position must be detailed-orientated, flexible and possess excellent organizational skills. The position of Social Worker provides planning, assessing, coordinating and implementation of services to enhance each resident?s social and psychosocial well being. The LSW assures that care standards are met and the highest degree of quality resident care is provided at all times. The position must function as both a team member, and team leader to ensure that work is accomplished and quality care is delivered, supporting team members and taking direction from the Social Services Director. While focusing on delivering quality care, the position must also manage the resources within their control and assist others in managing resources. Requirements Must have current Hawaii Social Work license. Previous experience with medical social work a must. Knowledge of social service principles and practices, including case management and counseling techniques. Knowledge of medical and public health care settings and financing, working knowledge of social and health community services and resources available to seniors, disabled persons and their families. Knowledge in the delivery of geriatric case management, including knowledge of the needs of geriatric population, Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance entitlement programs Compensation: Salary is DOE
