HBS specializes in service of critical building systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, fire, security and energy management.We are currently seeking a technical analyst who has experience with HVAC design, control, and operation of complex building systems. The candidate will have the ability to determine how the systems are currently operating and how to make the operation more efficient. The candidate will need to work with the customers to earn their confidence while analyzing their building needs. It is essential that the candidate work closely with the energy engineers in providing assistance with building surveys. This role will also provide technical assistance to the controls group with the controls implementation and re commissioning of projects. The individual must be a team player and be willing to provide assistance to other team members when necessary. As an HVAC Energy Administrator you will:• Perform site based information gathering, technical measurements, and data logging.• Aid energy engineers in evaluating mechanical, ventilation, and control systems.• Determine how building pneumatic controls, direct digital controls, and other controls systems are currently operating in customer facilities.• Determine how building systems are currently operating, including central HVAC systems, boiler systems, central chilled water systems, refrigeration systems, and pumping systems in customer facilities.• Identify and analyze alternatives, such as improved operational techniques and/or new equipment that could reduce energy and operational costs.• Assist with servicing of controls and other modifications, including calibration and tuning.• Assist with design and implementation of future projects.Basic Qualifications:* 5 years experience with HVAC controls in a building solutions environment Additionally Desired:* TechnicalCollegedegree or equivalent experience preferred.* 10 years experience with DDC control systems* Knowledge in energy audits and surveying* Must possess experience in energy conservation measures* The ability to evaluate building systems.* Travel 50% of the time locally* Proven experience interfacing with customers* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems using a variety of resources and tools.* Experience in a self-directed work environment.* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.* Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills and a high degree of detail orientation.* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, developing and maintaining consistently effective working relationships internally and with external resources.If you are a dynamic, successful, driven professional, Honeywell is the company that will further your experience and career growth.
