University of New MexicoDepartment of NeurologyHS Research CoordinatorJob DescriptionThe Department of Neurology is recruiting for an energetic and self motivated individual to participate in an exciting and newly funding NIH project in Cerebral Cavernous Malformation (CCM). Responsibilities will include recruiting patients for the CCM study, preparation of required forms for the MIND Research Center (MRN), the Human Research Review Committee (HRRC) and the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC). Duties also include collection, compiling and management of study data, coordinating research meetings, scheduling participates.Will also participate in current on-going Myotonic Dystrophy study with Neurology?s Child Neurologist, Dr. Leslie Morrison. Subjects for this study are be drawn from a database in the neurology department and clinic patients that Dr. Morrison has seen in the neuromuscular clinics, controls are also recruited for this study. Telephone calls and/or a written letter may be necessary for recruiting subjects and controls.
