Foreclosure Paralegal

Foreclosure ParalegalWe are seeking a seasoned Paralegal with Foreclosure and Real Estate Law experience. This is a permanent opportunity for a leading law firm in Albany, NY. Salary is $37,000-42,000/year, based on experience. This position would be a great fit for a Paralegal who excels in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment. This is a great opportunity to work for a small department where you would have the ability to work independently and have significant responsibility in the foreclosure process. Responsibilities include:?Provide Paralegal support to the legal team?Maintain a portfolio of files for designated clients?All phases of the foreclosure process from inception to the sale. This includes, but is not limited to: Service of Process, preparing affidavits, Notice of Hearings for the Motion for Summary Judgment hearing, preparing defaults and following up with the clerk and court on conformed copies of judgments, preparing Notice of Sales, preparing bid and bidding instructions, disbursements of funds and Certificate of TitleQualifications:?High School Diploma or Equivalent?College degree, CLA and/or Paralegal Certificate is preferred, but is not required?At least 1 year of experience working as a Foreclosure Paralegal in New York State?Proficiency in Word Perfect?Strong written and verbal communication skillsLinium?s commitment to Excellence, Integrity and Expertise is unmatched in the Capital Region.
