Foreclosure ParalegalWe have been retained by our client to assist them in filling a Foreclosure Paralegal position. This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity working for a mid-sized law firm in Albany, NY. This position requires candidates who excel in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Salary is $35,000/year, negotiable based on experienceResponsibilities include:?Provide Paralegal support to the legal team?Maintain a portfolio of files for designated clients?All phases of the foreclosure process from inception to the sale. This includes, but is not limited to: Service of Process, preparing affidavits, Notice of Hearings for the Motion for Summary Judgment hearing, preparing defaults and following up with the clerk and court on conformed copies of judgments, preparing Notice of Sales, preparing bid and bidding instructions, disbursements of funds and Certificate of TitleQualifications:?High School Diploma or Equivalent?College degree, CLA and/or Paralegal Certificate is preferred, but is not required?At least 1 year of experience working as a Foreclosure Paralegal in NYS?Proficient in Word Perfect?Strong written and verbal communication skillsLinium?s commitment to Excellence, Integrity and Expertise is unmatched in the Capital Region.
