Summary Description of this Position: Responsible for the management of the assigned principals? business in a defined marketing area. Primary responsibility includes increasing sales and market share of James Foods.Essential Functions of this Position:1. Deliver principals? volume, share and sales fundamental goals at the lowest possible cost.2. Achieve fundamental goals and results at the lowest possible selling cost while maximizing company revenue (to include brokerage, commissions, and bonuses, etc.)3. Communicate principals? priorities to Retail Food Sales Managers, Business Managers, and the retail food services selling organization to deliver business objectives.4. Report directly to the General Manager or Team Leader. 5. Manage and participate in the development, design and presentation of James Foods introduction to new principals.6. Develop relationships with principals and customers. Pro-actively communicate with key principals.7. Effectively function as a team player.8. Coordinate on-going communication between the General Managers and key principals, and between principals and other Managers.9. Collaborate with Retail Food Sales Managers on all major retail initiatives (new product introductions, selling drives, contests, etc.).10. Coordinate principals? market visits and key account calls.11. Effectively use knowledge of customer, market, and principal to successfully sell principals? specific programs and initiatives as well as Company objectives and initiatives ? involve Marketing, Technology, and Sales Support resources as needed to accomplish the objectives..12. Provide feedback on the effectiveness of principals? strategies, selling programs, and initiatives to the principal and the General Manager.Job Qualifications:Experience Requirement: Must have a proven track record in a principal sales capacity with a food broker or a major national company. Prior experience must demonstrate sales skills along with the ability to successfully manage and direct others. Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:1. Must be able to effectively communicate with others. Must be able to operate a calculator, computer, printer, fax machine, telephone and copier.2. Must have a valid driver?s license and be able to drive a car.3. Must be willing to travel.4. Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.6.
