Job Description: RTSC's Air Traffic Management Program Office in Marlboro, MA is currently seeking a Field Engineer II to provide technical field support and maintenance for the AN/TPN-31 Air Traffic Navigation Integration and Control Systems (ATNAVICS), a mobile state of the art integrated radar and air traffic control system. As our Field Engineer, you will travel full time to various US military bases through-out the world and support military Army and Marine Corps airfield and airport mobile deployments, checkouts, maintenance and repair of Raytheon's ATNAVICS system's in accordance with Raytheon technical and/or vendor documentation at various military facilities within the continental U.S. and foreign locations. In this role, you will be our primary point of contact for on-site customer interaction. You will participate in the planning and execution of work schedules for all phases of the installation/ integration to meet schedule deadlines. You will inspect site preparation activity and site design packages for completeness, errors, and recommend corrective action to meet contract requirements. You may need to reside full time on US military bases in IRAQ, KUWAIT or AFGHANISTAN. You are required to be available for 100% travel from home base for a periods of up to one year.Required Skills: Electronic equipment installation and repair experience required. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and schematic drawings. Experience with field repair and maintenance of radar and computer systems. Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and repair complicated electronics/computer systems. Must be willing to live and work on Military Facilities in any CONUS or OCONUS location to provide Raytheon product support on equipment. Must have at least two years experience in Air Traffic Control Radar and/or Radar Automation Systems. Desired Skills: Experience with Raytheon Radar and/or Radar Automation Systems including ATNAVICS, FBPAR, DASR and Autotrac; Military e xperience; Experience working in the field as a Field Service Engineer.
