Engineering TechnicianPosition ID: 40001107# Positions: 1Location: US-ND-DickinsonType: Regular Full-TimeCategory: Engineering More information about this job:Overview:The successful candidate will be part of an integrated team in Dickinson, ND required to manage the production from the Bakken assets.Responsibilities:* Support field personnel in managing the production data. Work with operators to ensure production integrity.* Coordinate with partners and record & analyze outside operated production data into Aries database. * Assist compiling and forecasting production expense data.* Generate production graphs and analyze production trends using Aries, DSS, Excel and Access. Create failure database for rod pumps and assist in analyzing pump performance.* Support data management and technical evaluation efforts of team. Recommend new approaches to streamline team's data management.* Work technical issues with engineering staff and Superintendent at Dickinson and Houston keeping communication open between Houston and North Dakota.* Assist in preliminary oversight of constructing field facilities, primary go-to person as liaison from field issues to staff personnel, and staying flexible in a growing atmosphere.* Assist in preliminary warehousing, communications set up, and all other start-up issues.Qualifications:* Degree: Not Required* Computer Proficiencies: PowerPoint, Excel & Word required. Training will be provided as appropriate for TOW, Aries, Access, SCADA and other software as deemed value-added. An understanding of oilfield data collection will be very beneficial.* Work Experience: Two to five years of technician or data management experience supporting technical staff or strong administrative experience including technical support. Experience with oilfield production databases and network communication will be helpful. Some experience with rod pumping and pump analysis is desired.
