Candidates must be board certified or eligible ABEM.? Candidates must be licensed in the State ofMissouri.? Allopathic and Osteopathic physicians will be considered equally.? Male and female physician candidates will be considered equally.? In - practice and military - trained physicians will be considered equally.Knowledge and skills? Skill in analyzing clinical test and examination results.? Skill in operating medical equipment.? Skill in oral and written communication.? Skill in assessing prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.? Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications.Salary / Benefits? The salary for the position is $124.20 per hour with benefits or $ 133.52 per hour without benefits. $ Health and dental insurance. May participate in the plans offered by the hospital and have same options as other employees.$ Participates in the Paid Time off(PTO) program. (A team member benefit which combines vacation, holiday, sick time and bereavement to provide flexible scheduling of time off with pay.) Insurance starts on the date of employment. Number of patients per year: ~18,000 currently expected to increase annually? Eight fulltime ERPs, 1 part time? Average number of shifts per month is 12-15 depending on scheduling? Cases sent out to other facilities are neuro-surgical, some cardiac, burns, major trauma? ER physicians do respond to codes on the floor? ER physicians do not cover the floor for Pediatric cases? Need to haveACLS, ATLS & PALS upon hire? Candidate must live within 20 minutes if the hospital.? 20% Admission rate: ED contributes about 60% of the Hospital admissions. ? 300+ Pediatric visits/month? 9 ED bedsnew ER will have 18 beds, 2 are trauma? Nursing Documentation is online. Computerized Physician Order Entry? PI projects focused on CORE Measures: AMIand Pneumonia?
