Electrical Construction EstimatorExperience: Mid Level 5 to 12 years Well established Construction Company has an immediate opening for an Electrical Construction Estimator to work in their Chicago area office. The company is looking for someone who has strong estimating on experience on electrical distribution, transmission, substation, and utility projects. This person will be preparing total installed cost estimates for the company?s utility projects involving electrical distribution, transmission lines, and substations, and will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with general and special conditions of bids including, insurance requirements, minority quotas (both contractor and work force) as well as compliance with applicable codes. Candidates must have at least 5 years of electrical construction estimating experience on electrical distribution, transmission, substation, and utility projects. Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal English communications skills are a must. Estimating experience on O/H transmission line projects and alternative energy projects is a plus.Local Midwest work experience is preferred.BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited US College or University is required. Salary is D.O.E. with full benefits. Relocation expenses are available for the right Local Candidate.(Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship)
