Director of Medical Intensive Care Unit, Greenville, NCPOSITION OVERVIEWSeeking an Interventional Pulmonologist to join our expanding academic group at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with a tenure track or fixed-term appointment.Recruitment is driven by an expanding facility, a brand new state-of-the-art free standing Pulmonology outpatient clinical space and procedure labs and the development of a new Cardiothoracic institute.There is currently an active IP program with an outstanding regional referral practice, bronchoscopy facilities (both in-patient and office) and a collaborative thoracic surgical group.This position will be a part of the development of a "proceduralist service", future development of an IP fellowship, growing medical simulation lab, and expansion of all activities in a multidisciplinary lung cancer group.COMPENSATION/ BENEFITS?Extremely competitive compensation COMMUNITYLocated in beautiful eastern North Carolina, Greenville has become the dominant economic, educational, and cultural hub of the region.
