October 01, 2009 Job Description Perform a variety of maintenance automation management support service tasks relative to establishing and running automated medical maintenance capabilities consistent with Field, Sustainment, and Depot level medical maintenance operations utilizing the DMLSS application. Field and Sustainment level automated maintenance management support requirements include establishing multiple, individually designated, medical units within the DMLSS application for the purpose of tracking maintenance services for discrete medical equipment items and resources expended associated with Army MTOE units with medical equipment . Depot level automated medical maintenance management support requirements include tracking and managing resources expended in the rebuilding and refurbishing of medical equipment as well as the automated management of services in support of USAMMA?s wholesale maintenance operation. Produce automated output and reports to analyze maintenance services performed, resources expended (e.g. man hours expended, parts used, etc), and maintenance trends. Thorough knowledge of the DMLSS application as it pertains to medical equipment repair, medical maintenance performance and scheduling requirements, and medical maintenance management requirements to include readiness reporting requirements. Skilled in the use of a personal computer and various word processing and graphics software applications, such as: electronic mail, calendar, project management, database management, desk-top publishing, graphics, spreadsheet and other types of software; must possess exceptional writing and oral communication skills to include the writing and conducting of informal/formal presentations. Provide expertise, advice and assistance with procedures and protocols for implementing the automated medical maintenance management system DMLSS. Implement, update and sustain the automated medical maintenance management capability utilizing the DMLSS application Input all data relevant to the DMLSS application to include, work order processing, scheduled services and parts requests. Provide weekly and monthly oral and written status / discrepancy report(s) of action taken and pending related to the intended completion of activities such as, meetings, project status, Service expenditures and major issues or concerns. Provide fact sheets, information papers, program descriptions, staff studies, white papers, formal reports, and executive summaries as required. Investigate and report on complaints and problem resolution. Report on the progress of issues and service delivery.
