Develop current and projected financial accounting statements, audit of invoices and contracts, interface with US Government financial managers with monthly, semi-annual, and annual account reconciliation. Supervises invoice specialists and provides recurring information to EADS-NA Finance Group.Responsibilities include:Execute the financial performance of the LUH program for Army, Navy, other US Government agencies, and foreign military sales contracts. Audits and reconciles contract actions from proposal evaluation through invoicing and billing. Advises the LUH Contracts Manager and Program Manager on FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 contracts. Routinely interfaces with Government Agencies such as DCMA, DCAA, DFAS, and Service contracts or business managers.Ensure that estimate-at-completion (EAC) accounting reflects both realism and appropriate financial conservatism in accordance with the EADS accounting practices and price/margin targets.Provide the monthly financial report for the program manager reflecting the historical performance of the contract with emphasis on the current year and the previous 12 month period. Financial report will reflect the program by account, contract, and U.S. appropriation.Lead the finanial planning process for the program. Develop appropriate pricing rates for the program, review sub-contract price analysis, and cost build for proposals Present the financial portion of a contract proposal within company and US Government reviews. Ensure current overhead and other indirect rates are used appropriately. Lead the pricing IPT for proposals and contract negotiations. Works closely with pricing analysts from EADS North America and sub-contractors. Ensure that all proposals comply with appropriate acquisition regulations.Perform coordination function with EADS CFO & his staff. Use the established financial & control procedures with periodic review to the EADS financial leadership.Support other EADS-NA business development efforts and other duties in support of EADS activities.Job Requirements :* Masters degree preferred;* 15-18 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related required.* Minimum 10 years experience government contracting experience within the defense industry.* Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and financial management techniques (such as EVMS).EADS North America is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V.
