Civil Construction EstimatorExperience: Mid Level 5 to 12 years Well established Construction Company has an immediate opening for a Civil Construction Estimator to work in their Chicago area office. This person will be preparing total installed cost estimates for the company?s civil (buildings and structures) projects, both in the private sector and public sector, and will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with general and special conditions of bids including, insurance requirements, minority quotas (both contractor and work force) as well as compliance with applicable codes. Candidates must have at least 5 years of civil construction estimating experience on heavy industrial and/or highway construction projects. Also required is min 5 years of experience working with local government agencies such as Chicago Department of Transportation, or Illinois Department of Transportation. Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal English communications skills are a must.Candidates must have work experience with a construction company in the Midwest. BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited US College or University is required. Salary is D.O.E. with full benefits. Relocation expenses are available for the right Local Candidate.(Candidates must be in the Midwest and must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship)
